Why You Should Be Involved

The purpose of the CPMEA is to promote the interests of all confidential, professional and managerial employees, and to assist its members in playing an integral role in the effective functioning of the University and achievement of its academic and strategic goals. A good way to begin this is to build a solid CPM network.

Connecting with your fellow CPM colleagues by attending planned events and networking opportunities enables you to make strategic York connections, exchange ideas and leverage the experience of your colleagues to support the University’s strategic initiatives. Participating as a member of a committee or representing the interests of the membership on a working group affords you the opportunity to build professional skills and make further strategic connections.
